Embassy PoolCo above ground pools fall into one of two categories: steel or resin. These materials apply to the top rails and verticals. While both are equally durable and aesthetically appealing, there are some subtle differences in their compositions.
Steel Frames
Embassy PoolCo steel frame pools consist of better-than-industry-standard gauge steel, which is about 50% heavier than the steel used by competing brands. The steel in the pool’s top rails and verticals undergoes a 7-step coating process to ensure optimal strength and corrosion resistance.
Resin Frames
Our Resin Frame Swimming Pools are similar in durability and appearance to our steel frame pools. The difference is that the frames are composed of an extruded resin material. Resin is an attractive material that is rust-proof, chip- and blemish-resistant, and extremely durable, making it another ideal material for swimming pools.
Hydrosphere Series Semi-Onground Pools
When you want to recess a pool 24” or more feet into the ground, a model from our Hydrosphere Series is the perfect solution. The walls, floor, and braces of these semi-inground pools are made from quality American-Made steel and feature Poly Shield Protection, giving them inground pool strength that holds up against outside pressure. Furthermore, they are :
- Impact Resistant
- Chemical Resistant (including salt)
- UV Resistant
- Energy Efficient through thermal conductivity
